Madsen Pontoons - The
distinction of a Madsen pontoon is not only its simple elegance and
quality of construction, but also the people behind the boat.
We are known as "The Pontoon People" because we have
learned a lot about the person who owns a quality pontoon. In
the early days, the Danish Blacksmith and his bride worked closely
with their customers to design and build a pontoon of quality and
durability. They quickly became known for their craftsmanship
and personal touch. Since 1959, more and more pontoon people
have counted on the Madsen expertise to provide care free quality
time for the entire family. You might say that Pontoon People
prefer The Pontoon People.
Mahogany Bay - Mahogany
Bay is the realization of F. Todd Warner's life long endeavor to
revive the lifestyle associated with antique and classic boating.
Todd has dedicated his life to the preservation and restoration of
antique and classic watercraft of all types. In 1975 friends
gathered their wooden boats at Lord Fletcher's. This founded
the first Lake Minnetonka Antique and Classic Boat Rendezvous.
He was a founding President of the Bob Speltz Land-O-Lakes Chapter
of the Antique and Classic Boat Society. He has been a
founding member of 5 other chapters, served on the national Board of
Directors of the Antique and Classic Boat Society and has been an
advocate at every opportunity to preserve all types of antique and
classic watercraft. As the proliferation of the lifestyle has
evolved he has been actively involved in boat shows, judging,
buying, selling, and particularly restoring and collecting rare
vessels. As we have seen the antique and classic boating
lifestyle grow, he has taken the initiative to set the standards in
which this industry should operate. He believes that the
preservation and restoration of antique and classic watercraft is a
necessary part of our heritage and needs to be preserved for future
generations at the highest standards. Todd has assembled a
team of passionate antique boat craftsman, persevering the service
dedicated to enhancing your classic boating experience. Mahogany Bay
currently has seventeen full-time craftsman restoring classic boats,
among them master shipwrights on staff with twenty-five years
experience. Nobody else can make those claims around this part
of the country. Mahogany Bay restores boats for the people of
Lake Minnetonka and, as well for people around the world. Mahogany
Bay seeks the rare and collectible "floating art" (a term
Todd uses to describe classic boats) of a bygone era. He
believes Mahogany Bay is taking art collecting to a whole new level.
It's an interesting market, because there is such a finite supply
and an ever increasing demand. Mahogany Bay prides itself on service
first to the customer, and we'll handle all facets in either
storage, service, pick-up, delivery, upholstery, canvas, chrome,
instruments...we do full restoration, including engines. We
are proud to offer red carpet service, dropping your boat off in the
spring and picking it up at your dock at the end of the boating
season.
What exactly is 1stAboard.com? 1stAboard
was created in an effort to provide the best possible price to vehicle
transport customers by creating a service which allows multiple auto and
boat transporters to compete for loads in a single location. When you post
a vehicle for transport, depending on the location, time frame, type of
vehicle, and other circumstances, your load will accommodate one carrier's
current runs better than another. For example, if you
want your vehicle hauled from Chicago to Miami, there might be a
transporter on the board looking to fill a carrier which needs one more
car. This company will offer you a lower price to get your vehicle. Or you
may post a boat for transport from Florida to Maine. There might be a boat
hauler on the board who needs to get back to dispatch, loaded or not, so
they will offer a lower rate to secure your load. There
are many factors when determining the price of relocating a vehicle, by
having a group of transporters with various circumstance bidding for your
quote, there is a greater chance of receiving the best price
possible. |
